Aero Modelers of Perrine (AMPS) Terms and Conditions
By becoming a member of the Aero Modelers of Perrine (AMPS) you agree to abide by its Field Rules and those of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). You certify that you have read and understand said rules and regulations and that failure to abide may result in loss of membership privileges.
You are aware of the risks and dangers involved in the operation of radio-controlled aircraft, and that unanticipated and unexpected dangers may arise during such activities and you assume all risks of injury and damage or loss of property which may be sustained in connection with the stated activities, including, without limitation, the potential crash and loss of your aircraft and its on-board equipment and personal injury.
In consideration of the permission granted to participate in the stated activities, you hereby, remise and discharge AMPS and South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), their officers, board members, members and volunteer flight instructors, and all other participants in the stated activities of and from all claims, loss, damages, actions, and other causes of action of any sort, for injuries to person and/or property during or as a result of participating in any of the activities contemplated by this Agreement, whether such loss, damage, or injury results from the negligence of AMPS and/or the SFWMD, their officers, board members, volunteers, or from any other cause.
You represent and certify that the date of birth stated in the membership or renewal application is true, and that the applicant is a member in good standing of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). You understand that AMA membership must cover you for the entire calendar year (January 1st thru December 31st) for which you are applying membership to AMPS.
By joining AMPS, you certify that you have read, understood, and agreed to the foregoing request, release and waiver of all claims. Furthermore, you certify that the information provided in your membership application is true and that you have read, and will abide by, the AMPS Field Rules and the terms stated above. You understand that providing false information in this membership application and/or failure to comply with club rules could result in the loss of your flying privileges.
Protection of your personal information.
AMPS does not share your personal information with any individuals or organizations outside of the club. Information provided during your membership application or renewal is only used for internal purposes of communicating with club members. You are given the option to share limited information with other members of the club.
Information collected during your membership or renewal application is maintained for a maximum of five years after you no longer remain a member of AMPS.
