The AMPS club and flying facilities are private, and their use require membership. Club membership also requires membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). We have four different membership types to suit every need.

• • Adult Member – Adult between 19 and 64 years of age – $200.00 per year – Membership fees are prorated for the first year based on the quarter of the year when joining. An initiation fee of $150.00 will be added for all new Adult Members.
  • Senior Member – Adult 65 years of age and older – $145.00 per year – Membership fees are prorated for the first year based on the quarter of the year when joining. An initiation fee of $50.00 will be added for all new Senior Members.
  • Junior Member – Child or adolescent up to 18 years of age – $15.00 per year.
  • Non-Resident Member –Adult with permanent residence outside of the Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, and Palm Beach Counties $145.00 per year. An initiation fee of $150.00 will be added for all new Non-Resident Members.

Basic Conditions/Requirements:

• • AMPS memberships expire December 31st and are renewable during the month of December.
  • The Club Field Rules and the Terms and Conditions must be adhered to when using the club flying field.
  • Members are required to read and understand these rules before joining the club.
  • Proof of AMA membership is required every year for AMPS membership renewal.
  • AMA must expire on or after December 31st of the year of Joining/Renewing AMPS membership.
  • Must apply as NEW MEMBER if membership expired more than one year ago.
